KOREA - The Donghae-1 platform is a gas condensate processing facility. Located in approximately 400ft of water in Korea’s East Sea, South West of Ulsan city, it will supply gas to a land fall location approximately 40 miles away through a 14” export line.

The gas is collected via three subsea satellite tie wells controlled from the platform using an electro hydraulic multiplexed control system.

Antares Offshore provided with subsea consultancy services with the right blend of technical expertise and practical offshore ‘know how’. The scopes of work included the hydrotest and dewatering of the 6” flexible infield flowlines, commission of the subsea wells, and support for planning and conducting successful subsea intervention operations and managing ongoing equipment maintenance issues.

Antares was also able to provide to KNOC the service of being a focal point for the interpreting and disseminating of technical details and plans to the mostly Western vendor field technicians and Engineers to enable them to coordinate and resolve issues involving their systems and equipment.
